About Us
In the early 1990s, civil unrest led our family to different countries across West Africa. Through all of the uncertainty, one thing remained constant-food. Through food we DISCOVERED new cultures and formed lasting memories.
Many years later, that seed of discovery blossomed into an intentional quest to connect with the world through food. From international culinary TV shows, to spice markets, restaurants, and intimate kitchens around the world, The Liberian Epicure was born.
Each place we visit becomes a chapter.
Each blend reflects global flavors, reinterpreted through our Liberian heritage.
We do not replace or replicate.....we reimagine and reinterpret what food would taste like if countries of the world were exchanging a handshake with Liberia and West Africa at large.

The Inspiration
Mission Beyond the Kitchen
A portion of profits from The Liberian Epicure & its sister company, Savannah Botanicals Atelier, supports the education of Liberian women and girls pursuing careers in medicine and health-related fields.
Our work is rooted in the rich traditions of Liberia & West Africa, where culture, care, and community are deeply connected.
We believe success should create opportunities for others to thrive. By investing in future doctors, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, we contribute to stronger and healthier communities across Liberia for generations.
The Founder, Henri
For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by flavor. Always experimenting, always tasting, and always searching for the next perfect combination of spices, I often joke that I was born with an epicurean palate. What began as a passion for food evolved into a lifelong pursuit of understanding how ingredients work together to create something greater than the sum of their parts.
That passion ultimately became Liberian Epicure....
....but this company was never just about spices.
As a wife, mother, and entrepreneur, I wanted to build something meaningful—something that could be passed down to my children that no one could ever take away from them. I envisioned a family legacy that would teach the values of hard work, self-sufficiency, ownership, and stewardship. More than creating products, I wanted to create opportunities for future generations to learn how to build, lead, and serve.
Today, Liberian Epicure reflects that vision. Every blend tells a story of culture, creativity, and craftsmanship, while every business decision is guided by the belief that success carries a responsibility to give back.
That commitment extends beyond the company itself. A portion of Liberian Epicure's sales supports its parent organization, the Global Palate Scholarship Fund, which was established to help create educational opportunities and invest in the next generation of leaders, innovators, and dreamers.
For me, true success is not measured by what we accumulate, but by what we leave behind. Through Liberian Epicure, I hope to preserve heritage, strengthen family legacy, empower future generations, and demonstrate that business can be both profitable and purposeful.
The CEO, Bre-Dani
At just 17 years old, Bre-Dani represents the next generation of leadership at Liberian Epicure. While young in age, she possesses a unique combination of creativity, vision, determination, and natural leadership that continues to set her apart.
Bre's appointment as CEO reflects a belief that gifts, character, and potential—not simply age or experience—can prepare someone to lead. Her ability to connect with people, embrace new ideas, and approach challenges with confidence demonstrates a maturity beyond her years.
Rooted in strong family values and a deep appreciation for her Liberian heritage, Bre is committed to helping build a legacy that honors the past while inspiring the future. As she grows alongside the company, she carries forward the belief that God-given gifts make room for those willing to walk boldly in their purpose.
Bre's journey is only beginning, and Liberian Epicure is proud to invest in a young leader whose vision, passion, and promise will help shape the company's future for generations to come.
